Jimmy Cauty's Riot Tour: 2016
This is Jimmy Cauty ADP Riot tour. This originally started out as a model village featured in Banksy's Dismal Land. This was then turned into a 40ft storage container with viewing holes all around for people to go and see.

This is the first container that travelled all around the UK. I went to see this in Hull in 2016. The container was very popular and many people went to see it. I first heard of it because I am a big fan of Banksy and his work and heard about this when he opened dismal land and this model village was featured there. Many people came and graffitied the container and then the outside itself became a secondary piece of art and part of the piece. This is another thing I liked about it.

Inside the viewing holes:
Inside when looking through the viewing holes there where many different scenes these specific holes are just one example of one of the scenes inside the container. This features riots and depicts police spray painting and doing graffiti on a wall. The container had many different scenes all round within the different sections. I loved the interactive aspect of the container and the way viewers have to actively walk round and look into these viewing holes. I thought this installation piece was very clever as it moved around to different places so many different and diverse audience can view and allow them to get a varied range of reactions to the statement that the piece made.
2020 Container- Jimmy Cauty:

Jimmy Cauty decided that because the container worked so well last time that he would do another one. This one you have to book for now to stick to Covid regulations but you can actually go inside and have a look around in the model village which mean that this one is even more interactive and more enjoyable for the viewer. This has unfortunately been postponed because of the pandemic but when the booking is open agian this is the first place im going to vist as I really enjoyed the last one and am excited to see what the new element of looking inside of the container will be like and how it compares to the last container he made. I am very excited to go and view this when it is possible to.
