For my personal object I chose to paint my shower gel as I use it everyday and I couldn't original find an object that I found interesting enough to paint. I decided that the shower gel was a good choice because of the bright yellow colour as I though it was quite a unique shade and it just caught my eye. I really enjoyed painting this and adding all the little details that where on the label. I am not so sure about the red background I added and maybe should have used a more muted less intense colour as it distracts us from the object but I do like the way it gives the effect of  placing the object in a room and how it makes it seem as if it was in the corner of the shower or on a shelf somewhere.
