The first thing I did with my Shaun project space was texture the walls with filler.  I did this by using a palette knife. After this I then painted it green as i though this colour would stand out and I was hoping that by changing the colour of the box it would give me more inspiration of what I could do with it on the inside. I then painted the floor of the box pink and used salt to texture the bottom to create more interest and texture. This is when I decided to use some of these different coloured electrical tapes to create sort of ribbon like effect. I twisted them in different  in different areas o the box and used the actual rolls of tape as a focal point of the image and the the strips of tape acted as leading lines to guide the viewer to follow it. This made the image more confusing and create the effect I wanted of the viewer not knowing where to look first. Overall I think this was one of my favourite designs as its was simple yet effective.

This is a video I made relating to the first idea that I did in my Shaun Project Space. I wanted to change the whole atmosphere and vibe of the box so I decided to use a lid and some low key lighting inside of the box. I then dripped paint around the edge of the box and added so unsettling and weird music. I edited it using premier pro and by doing this I was able to add a red and black colour overlay over the top as well as messing around with a few of the other settings to create this unsettling feel to the video. I liked the way this turned out as I was able to take my original more bright and cheery piece into a more creepy piece of art that leaves the viewer questioning what the piece means and what is happening throughout it.

This is the first step that I took for my second idea. I decided that I would use filler mixed with tissue to create a sort of sculpture like think in the corner. I then decided to make this look like water coming out of a bottle which is shown in the later photos. I kept with the theme of keeping it very abstract and just played around with different materials and used experimentation to see what the box would become. I liked this as I was free to change my ideas along the way if i wanted to and got to just play around and see what looked best where. Overall I likes the way this turned and the picture below are some of the end products.

I overall really like these final images as I like the moody lighting and editing on the images with a moon light. The Rainbow is the bit I think really contrast the dark and moody atmosphere the best and I really like the overall effect. If you click the arrow sideways then you can see some of the experimentation I did with different coloured lights which I don't think worked as well as I thought it would as it takes away from the dark moody atmosphere I was trying to create as well as distracts from the actual sculpture in the corner. Over I do really like how these pictures of the box turned out. especially the one with the moon lamp as I think it just really adds something to it.
